Cold Pursuit is the first book in a planned series by Nancy Mehl.
It's a quick read, the focus on Christianity in every day life isn't heavy handed. More of an individual's struggle to keep faith in their life.
A pair of FBI agents form their own detective agency after experiencing trauma in their last case. Overcoming trauma, fear, dealing with a parent who has dementia all while establishing a new business.
The story was quick, there aren't too many characters introduced to muddy the waters. The ending was interesting. Case solved and a cliff hanger for the next in the series.
